I cannot say how lucky I was to have Ben Boyle as my agent to help me buy the kind of house I had been dreaming of.

Upon deciding to migrate to Australia and settle on the Gold Coast, I made up my mind to buy a house right away, despite being a foreigner who had never been to the country before. I knew I had to have professional assistance but the real challenge was finding the right buyer's agent. I think I contacted practically every buyer's agent working in Queensland before finally choosing YPS, and actually spent more time on choosing my buyer's agent than on choosing the house itself.

From the very beginning of our meeting, which took place just one day after my arrival in Australia, I could tell right away that I had chosen wisely. Ben was careful not to pressure or rush me in any way and very professional in determining my needs and criteria, about which I was still confused. I had a vague idea of buying a waterfront property, thinking this would ensure the greatest resale value later on, but while not ruling out this option, Ben steered me toward golf frontage homes, which proved to be better suited to meet the needs of my family and my price range.

Within less than two weeks of setting foot in the country, I ended up buying the very first house Ben showed me (it actually took me longer to buy a car, which was a very frustrating experience). While I loved this golf-frontage house from the start, I wanted to exhaust other options first before rushing into a decision and asked Ben to show me more houses. In the end, however, none could compare with this house and so I went back for a second inspection and decided to buy it. Ben also came up with an excellent negotiation strategy and ensured that no time was wasted in haggling over the price. He also kindly took care of every other detail -- arranging for house and pest inspections, which he personally attended to make sure the job is done properly, taking out a home insurance, contacting a solicitor, and so on.

All in all, one of the most difficult and important decisions of my life turned out to be a very efficient and smooth process, and I know without a doubt that I would not have bought my current house were it not for Ben's advice and would still be wasting time and effort looking at other houses all over the Gold Coast.

Thanks to Ben, I have settled in Australia very quickly and am looking forward to spending a very happy time here. I have no hesitation in recommending YPS to anyone thinking of buying a house in Queensland.
