YPS recently helped us find and purchase our `ultimate family home' in Brisbane. Like many others in Brisbane we are new arrivals to the Sunshine State, moving from Adelaide to take up a senior specialist position at Royal Brisbane Hospital. We organised a house to rent and gave ourselves a year to find the family home, but knew it was not going to be an easy process. A friend who had made the same move a year earlier had looked at over 90 houses before finding their new home - not a tale to lift our spirits. In addition neither of us are originally from Australia and had never bought a house here before, so we had many questions regarding the process and legal details.

YPS guided us through the negotiating game which eventually led to auction. The turn out on auction day was daunting, with more than 100 people at the house (including over 15 registered bidders). The interest in the house was high and the bidding competitive, but YPS put their expertise into action. We were especially grateful to have them on hand when we emerged as the highest bidder but still needed to get through negotiations to get the house `on the market'. I believe they saved us tens of thousands of dollars in the process and to our great delight we bought a beautiful house, beyond our initial expectations, and within our set price range.
